Lifting an EV
Yes, but follow safety precautions:
- Use Jack Points: Only lift from designated reinforced points listed in the manual.
- Protect the Battery: Never place the jack under the battery pack or floor pan.
- Flat Surface: Park on level ground and set the parking brake.
- Wheel Chocks: Secure the opposite wheels to prevent rolling.
Some EVs come with repair kits instead of spare tires; roadside assistance may be easier for flat repairs.
