What Is a Frunk?
A frunk (front trunk) is a storage compartment at the front of an EV, where a gas car would normally have its engine.
How Much Space?
- Small EVs: Around 0.35–1.75 cu ft.
- Larger EVs/SUVs: 3.5 cu ft or more.
- Some models: No frunk due to drivetrain or design choices.
Why It's Useful
- Good for storing charging cables, small bags, or groceries.
- Provides storage separate from the main trunk.
- Some frunks are water-resistant and washable.
